We will be setting up action groups in January - and we hope to work with existing groups in Tring to address some areas. So a plan wil not emerge until next year.

However some of the obvious things are

• Encourage householders to use less energy
• Show car owners how to drive ECOnomically
• Encourage less use of cars and more use of public transport, bikes and feet
• Try to make Tring more pedestrian and bike friendly
• Encourage people to shop locally
• Show people how to grow their own vegetables and fruit
• Show shopkeepers and estate agents how to save money by using less lighting at night
• Campaign for Dacorum to use less street lights outside the main are of the town
• Encourage energy production via PV Panels, Solar Heating and wood stoves etc.
• Encourage people to reuse and recycle
