You can see what is happening in our Action Groups in our WIKI

We will be setting up Action Groups at our meeting on Thursday January 15th, 8pm , High Street Baptist Church hall. Please come and join us - a bread and cheese meal will be provided.

Those who come to the meeting will decide on exactly which action groups will be formed (details will be published here after the event) but we expect action groups to be set up in areas such as home energy conservation, transport (including cycling), local food production, self sufficiency, reducing Tring's carbon footprint etc. It's all up to you.

Action groups will appoint a representative to Tring in Transition's steering committee.

What happens is up to you - please come on the 15th. If you are unable to come, but are interested in being involved, please email us to register your interest transition@tringintransition.org.uk  or phone Veronica Allan on 01442 824494

The day after we form the action groups - FRIDAY 16th JANUARY from 10-12, we are having a morning of talks and discussions provided by Dacorum Sustainability Week in the Victoria Hall. This should prove an inspiring session featuring Yachana  http://yachana.org.ec/  and the speaker will be Juan Kunchikuy http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/27/opinion/27kristof.html

- full details later. If you are unable to make the afternoon, there is a morning session at Berkhamsted.
